Is Design Star: Next Gen coming back?

Design Star: Next Gen was a competition series that premiered on February 17, 2021, on discovery+. The show featured eight talented designers, renovators, and social media brand-builders competing in intense weekly challenges. In a new twist, the series was filmed in an isolated "design hub" community, where each contestant was given a design lab—a house-like space to be reimagined for each challenge. The community provided all necessary resources, including a design center, a construction workshop, and a fully stocked furniture and styling warehouse, enabling participants to focus on creating stunning spaces.

The show was hosted by Allison Holker and judged by Jonathan Adler and Lauren Makk. It aired six episodes in its first season, with each episode lasting approximately 65 minutes. There is no current information about whether the series will return for a new season or continue in any capacity.
