Deception was a drama, crime, and mystery series that premiered on January 7, 2013. It followed FBI agent Will Moreno as he investigated the suspicious death of Vivian Bowers, a wealthy party girl. Convinced her death was a homicide, Moreno enlisted Joanna Padget Locasto, Vivian's childhood friend and former police partner, to infiltrate the Bowers family and uncover the truth. The series depicted her efforts to navigate the family's secrets and uncover why Vivian's life was in danger.
