De vloek van Woestewolf was a children's action and adventure series that premiered in 1974. It followed the adventures of Dr Kroch, a healer who specialized in treating various ailments, and his assistant Valet. The story began when a mysterious coffer filled with gold and a plea for help arrived at the doctor's practice. Despite dismissing the message, the theft of the coffer by robbers prompted the doctor to investigate the sender, believed to be the legendary Duke of Wolf Castle. The series involved themes of mystery and discovery as Dr Kroch and Valet explored whether the duke was real or just a myth, and whether the castle was a fortress or ruins on a ghostly hill.
The episodes had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes each.
