Is Dönence coming back?

Dönence ended on October 11, 2023, after its first season aired on Kanal D. The show concluded its story, and there are no upcoming episodes scheduled.

Dönence was a drama and romance series that premiered in July 2023. It followed Gece, who was preparing to start university and dreamt of making music with her boyfriend Emir during the summer. Her plans were disrupted when her family moved to Foça to help her sister Gülce, who struggled with the noise and crowd of Istanbul. In Foça, Gece met Özgür, a sailing instructor who cared for his brother Rüzgar, who has Asperger's syndrome, after losing his parents. The series explored their evolving relationship as Gece learned to see life more maturely, while Özgür discovered not to put his life on hold. The arrival of Emir in Foça created tension, challenging Gece’s feelings and decisions about love and future.

The cast included Sümeyye Aydoğan as Gece, Atakan Hoşgören as Emir, Caner Topçu as Özgür, and Doğan Karakaş as Rüzgar. It provided a story about young love, family struggles, and personal growth set against the scenic backdrop of Foça.
