Copyface was a drama, romance, and thriller series that aired in 2016. It told the story of Hirosawa Nodoka, a freelance journalist who went undercover to investigate a cosmetic surgery clinic. During her investigation, she was involved in a plane crash and was mistakenly identified as Fuyuko, the wife of the clinic's director, Asakura Shuji. She underwent plastic surgery and lost her memory, believing she was his wife. Over time, she fell in love with Shuji, despite her previous intentions and the complex circumstances surrounding her identity.

The series starred Chiaki Kuriyama as Hirosawa Nodoka and Sato Ryuta as Asakura Shuji. It consisted of a single season with six episodes, each approximately 49 minutes long. The show explored themes of identity, love, and moral dilemmas, set against the backdrop of a suspenseful thriller plot.
