Colonel Bleep was a pioneering animated series from 1957 that was notable for being the first color cartoon made for television. The series consisted of 104 episodes, each lasting between three and six minutes, with slightly fewer than half of these episodes known to survive today. The show’s brief run and innovative use of color animation made it a unique part of early television history.
