The show depicted how the city’s criminal justice system was challenged and ultimately transformed through the efforts of unlikely allies, including Assistant District Attorney Decourcy Ward and FBI veteran Jackie Rohr. The series explored themes of justice, morality, and systemic corruption in a fictionalized account of Boston’s infamous "Boston Miracle" period.
