Children's Island was a drama, adventure, and family series that premiered on July 1, 1985. It was set during the height of the Blitz in World War II and followed the story of two British boys, Stanley and his younger brother Tommy. After their ship was torpedoed and sunk while traveling to the United States, they and nine other children found themselves stranded on an island in the Atlantic. The series depicted their struggle for survival and the ongoing efforts of William, the US President's grandson, who was distraught and guilt-ridden upon hearing the news of the sinking, yet persisted in searching for the missing children despite doubts about their survival.
The show had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode and consisted of 8 episodes in its only season.
