The plot began with Takumi communicating online with an acquaintance named Grim, who tried to inform him about recent violent events in the area. As the story progressed, a cryptic figure named Shōgun entered the chat, speaking in confusing riddles and sharing disturbing images, including one of a murder. The series explored themes of psychological thriller and science fiction, drawing viewers into a tense and suspenseful narrative.

The show featured a cast including Eri Kitamura as Rimi Sakihata, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Takumi Nishijō, and Ayumi Tsuji as Kozue Orihara. The series consisted of one season with 12 episodes, all aired between October 9 and December 25, 2008.
