This anime series, which premiered in January 2018, was a continuation of the original Cardcaptor Sakura franchise. It followed Sakura Kinomoto, a 14-year-old girl who started junior high school in Tomoeda. After experiencing a mysterious dream involving a cloaked figure, all of her magical cards turned blank and lost their power. Sakura and her friends embarked on a quest to uncover the cause of this strange phenomenon and eventually discovered new transparent cards that required a special key to capture.
The show was a fantasy adventure with elements of comedy, aimed at fans of magical girl stories. It aired in 2018 and consisted of 22 episodes, each lasting approximately 25 minutes. The series focused on Sakura's journey to restore her magical cards and understand the new challenges she faced as a young girl with magical abilities.
