About C.A.T.S. Eyes
C.A.T.S. Eyes ended on June 6, 1987. The series concluded after its third season, with the final episode airing on that date. The show was produced by Television South (TVS) for the ITV Network and is no longer in production.
C.A.T.S. Eyes was a drama and crime series that aired from 1985 to 1987. It centered around an all-female detective agency, the Eyes Enquiry Agency, which served as a front for the Home Office's covert security unit called the Covert Activities Thames Section (C.A.T.S.). The team was initially led by ex-Oxford University President Pru Standfast and included ex-cop Maggie Forbes, computer expert Fredrica Smith, and later Tessa Robinson, who replaced Pru. Their operations involved liaising with the Ministry through Nigel Beaumont. The series depicted their investigations and undercover work, reflecting the crime and drama genres of the mid-1980s.
The cast included Leslie Ash as Fredrica Smith, Jill Gascoine as Maggie Forbes, Rosalyn Landor as Pru Standfast, Don Warrington as Nigel Beaumont, and Tracey Louise-Ward as Tessa Robinson. The show had a runtime of approximately 50 minutes per episode.
