Busou Renkin was an action-packed anime series that first premiered on October 4, 2006. It was based on a shounen manga by Watsuki Nobuhiro, serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump. The story followed high school student Kazuki Muto, who was attacked by a homunculus after saving a mysterious girl named Tokiko Tsumura. He was revived with a kakugane medal, which granted him the ability to create Arms Alchemy and fight against the homunculi and their master.
The show featured a cast led by Jun Fukuyama as Kazuki Muto, Ryouka Yuzuki as Tokiko Tsumura, and Aya Hirano as Mahiro Muto. It was a series that combined elements of action, horror, and anime genres, and each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes. The series is no longer ongoing, and there are no current plans for new episodes or seasons.
