Britannia was a historical fantasy drama series that first premiered on January 18, 2018. It was set in 43 A.D. during the Roman invasion of Britain and depicted the conflict between the invading Roman forces and the native Celtic tribes. The show portrayed the Roman Imperial Army's efforts to conquer a land ruled by fierce warrior women and powerful druids capable of channeling the forces of the underworld.

The series featured a cast including Mackenzie Crook as Veran and Hallam, Nikolaj Lie Kaas as Divis, Eleanor Worthington-Cox as Cait, David Morrissey as Aulus Plautius, Julian Rhind-Tutt as Phelan, Liana Cornell as Ania, Annabel Scholey as Amena, and Hugo Speer as Lucius Validus.
