About Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty
Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty ended on November 7, 2006, on the Oxygen True Crime network. The show aired its entire first season from August 22 to November 7, 2006, and has not been renewed or continued since then.
The series was a reality-style program where Shannen Doherty helped people who struggled to end unhealthy or difficult relationships. Each episode featured Doherty listening to her clients' relationship issues and then creating a staged scenario, often involving hidden cameras, to test the true nature of the partners. If the test revealed problematic behavior, she would assist her clients in ending the relationship, often being present to deliver the breakup news and help both parties move on. The focus was on providing closure and encouraging people to prioritize their well-being.
Shannen Doherty starred as herself in the show, which had a runtime of 30 minutes per episode.
