About Branded
Branded ended on April 24, 1966, on NBC. The show concluded after its second season, which aired from September 12, 1965, to April 24, 1966. It was a Western series that originally premiered in 1965 and has since finished its run.
Branded was a drama series set in the American West during the mid-19th century. It followed the story of Jason McCord, a former U.S. Cavalry Captain who was court-martialed for cowardice during the Battle of Bitter Creek. Despite knowing his innocence, McCord refused to blame his commanding officer, General Reed, who died in the battle. The series depicted McCord's struggles to clear his name and seek justice in a rugged frontier environment.
Chuck Connors starred as Jason McCord, the main character.
