Is Borderland coming back?

Borderland ended on May 4, 2014, on Al Jazeera America. The series aired its entire first season from April 13 to May 4, 2014.

Borderland was a documentary series that explored the realities of illegal immigration along the US-Mexico border. The show followed six Americans as they retraced the footsteps of migrants who had died attempting to cross into the United States, providing insight into the dangers faced by those seeking a better life. The participants engaged with law enforcement, ranchers, and migrants, experiencing the journey firsthand by traveling through river crossings, jungles, and along the infamous cargo train La Bestia.

The cast included Alison Melder, Gary Larsen, Lis-Marie Alvarado, Kishana Holland, Randy Stufflebeam, and Alex Seel.
