Blue Period was a Japanese anime series that premiered in September 2021. It was a drama centered on Yatora Yaguchi, a high school student who, despite being popular and successful academically, felt a sense of emptiness and frustration inside. The series followed his journey as he discovered a passion for painting after being inspired by a school art club and a friend, leading him to pursue admission to the Tokyo University of the Arts.

The show featured voice performances by Hiromu Mineta as Yatora Yaguchi, Aoi Koga as Yamamoto, and Daiki Yamashita as Yotasuke Takahashi, among others. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
