Blue Dragon was an anime series that premiered on April 7, 2007, and was based on an adventure, fantasy, and action genre from Japan. The story was set in a fictional world where a young boy named Shu and his friends Jiro and Kluke fought to defend their village from an unknown enemy. They discovered the powers of Shadow, which allowed them to transform their shadows into formidable monsters. Shu received one of the most powerful monsters, the Blue Dragon, and together they set out on a quest to defeat the forces threatening their homeland.

The cast included actors such as Keiko Nemoto as Shu, Daisuke Namikawa as Jiro, and Romi Park as Zola. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode.
