About Big Bad Beetleborgs

Big Bad Beetleborgs ended on March 2, 1998, after its second season. The show originally aired from September 7, 1996, to March 2, 1998, on Freeform.

Big Bad Beetleborgs was a children's action-adventure series that followed three pre-teen kids who, after entering a haunted house, wished to become their favorite superheroes, the Beetleborgs. Their wish was granted by Flabber, a blue phasm, but it also released their enemies, the Magnavores, from comic books into their world. The kids, now as Beetleborgs, fought to protect their city from these villains, including Noxic, Jara, Typhus, and their leader Vexor, who unleashed evil creatures from comics. The series was set mainly at Hillhurst Mansion, where Flabber's house monsters, such as Count Fangula and Frankenbeans, added to the chaos.

The series consisted of two seasons with a total of 88 episodes. The first season premiered in September 1996, and the second season concluded in March 1998. The cast included Wesley Barker as Drew McCormick, Herbie Baez as Roland Williams, Shannon Taylor and Brittany Konarzewski as Jo McCormick, Billy Forester as Flabber, and others. The show did not have a rated viewer score and had an episode runtime of approximately 23 minutes.
