Bedtime Hero was a comedy, mystery, and supernatural series that first premiered on April 17, 2018. It was about Ding Yi, a homebody with a stellar academic record who possessed a photographic memory but had a weakness: whenever he got scared, his short-term memory vanished. The show followed his experiences at Qing Hua University, where he met his playful and wealthy roommate Feng Zixi and guidance counselor Ai Mei, who helped him develop his abilities.

The series starred Wayne Liu as Ding Yi, Zheng He Hui Zi as Ai Mei, Fan Xiao Dong as Feng Zixi, and Mavis as Jin Ruo Yun. The show aired for two seasons, with a total of 24 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long. It concluded in May 2018 after its second season.
