It was a Chinese drama, thriller, and mystery series that first premiered on June 22, 2022. The show followed Lu Xiao, a young police captain known for his intelligence and composure, who faced a challenging case involving a floating corpse and the elusive "Water Ghost" killer. Throughout the series, Lu Xiao teamed up with his new roommate Fang Yi Tong to solve the case, all while dealing with personal tragedy, including the loss of his wife Jiang Yi Ran. The narrative depicted his journey of perseverance and justice in the face of danger and loss.

The series consisted of 30 episodes, each approximately 34 minutes long, and aired its entire run within a month in 2022.
