Australian Spartan was a physical competition series that premiered in 2018. It was a test of strength, speed, agility, and endurance, featuring teams of three racing across a specially designed obstacle course inspired by the worldwide fitness phenomenon ‘Spartan Race’. The series challenged participants to work together to overcome extreme obstacles that escalated in difficulty, ultimately aiming to crown the most resilient team as the ultimate Australian Spartans.

The show featured hosts Edwina Bartholomew and Hamish McLachlan, with Wendell Sailor serving as a sideline reporter. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 70 minutes. The series was broadcast over two seasons, with a total of ten episodes.
