Is Asylum coming back?

Asylum ended on December 10, 1996, on Comedy Central. The show was a surreal black comedy series that aired in 1996. It was set in an asylum located in a quiet English countryside, where a variety of odd characters were confined. The series explored bizarre escape attempts by the patients and portrayed the asylum staff as being possibly unhinged, with some characters admitting to strange reasons for their presence. Throughout its run, Asylum presented a mixture of dark humor and absurd scenarios, raising questions about whether the entire setting was an elaborate experiment or a cruel hoax. The show was known for its offbeat tone and unconventional storytelling style, fitting into the comedy genre and debuting in the mid-90s.
