The show featured a cast led by Keeley Hawes as DI Alex Drake, alongside Philip Glenister as DCI Gene Hunt, Dean Andrews as DS Ray Carling, Marshall Lancaster as DCI Jim Keats, Montserrat Lombard as WPC Sharon "Shaz" Granger, and Daniel Mays as DCI Jim Keats.
