Is As Scheduled coming back?

Singer Jin Xi makes a disastrous crossover into acting, only to be ridiculed online for his poor performance. Refusing to give up, he decides to reinvent himself by stepping into the world of musical theatre, determined to prove his critics wrong. By chance, Jin Xi falls for the cold, perfectionist musical director Ning Jin, and an unexpected kiss sparks undeniable chemistry between them. Fate brings them together again at an audition, where Ning Jin—who has little respect for idols crossing into musicals—is far from impressed. Subjecting the newcomer to relentless training and impossible standards, he pushes Jin Xi to his limits. Despite being ostracized by senior cast members, sabotaged by rivals, and scrutinized by the public, Jin Xi perseveres through grueling rehearsals, gradually shedding his idol image and discovering his true potential. His dedication slowly earns the respect of both the theatre company and the demanding director. As they face misunderstandings, career setbacks, family burdens, heartbreak, and reconciliation, the two join forces to save a struggling theatre troupe and bring a new production of A Chinese Ghost Story to the stage. Through countless challenges behind the curtains, their bond deepens, they heal one another, and together they lead the musical to a triumphant premiere.
