Arte was a historical drama and romance anime series that originally premiered on April 4, 2020. The show was set in Florence during the 16th century Renaissance era and followed Arte Spalletti, a young aristocrat who defied societal expectations by pursuing her passion for art. Despite being born into privilege, Arte was willing to abandon her aristocratic lifestyle to become an artist, exploring themes of gender roles and artistic ambition in a period when women were rarely recognized as creators.

The series featured Mikako Komatsu as Arte Spalletti, with supporting roles by Katsuyuki Konishi, Junya Enoki, Kiyono Yasuno, Sayaka Ohara, Kousuke Toriumi, and M・A・O. The show consisted of one season with 12 episodes, each approximately 30 minutes long. It was a concise depiction of Arte's journey and the challenges she faced in her pursuit of art during a historically rich period.
