Angel Tales was an anime and fantasy series that aired from October 2001 to June 2003. It followed the story of Mutsumi Gorou, an unlucky young man whose pets repeatedly died from tragic causes during his childhood. One day, a mysterious fortune teller told him that he was surrounded by bad luck and gave him a magical cell phone. This device awakened his childhood pets, transforming them into beautiful young girls, which led Mutsumi into a series of adventures and encounters.
The series had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode and comprised two seasons, totaling 23 episodes.
