Ang Shim Jung was a historical mystery drama series set in the Joseon era. It followed a group of secret agents called Ang Shim Jung as they fought against the 12 Zodiac Animals, a powerful organization that sought control over the kingdom. The story centered on Min Chung Seol, a noblewoman whose entire family was murdered, and her subsequent journey to join the secret agents, where she met Kang Ye Rang.

The cast included Yeo Hyun Soo as Kang Ye Rang, Kim Ha Eun as Min Chung Seol, Kwon Hae Hyo as Yoon Geuk Gum, and Lee Ki Young as Kang Seung Won. The show had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
