Is American Country Countdown Awards coming back?

The American Country Countdown Awards ended on May 1, 2016. The show aired its final episode on that date on FOX, concluding its run after two seasons. It was a televised award ceremony that celebrated country music artists and achievements, based on the popular radio countdown show "American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks". The event was part of a long-standing tradition in country music, with the radio show having launched in 1973 and now broadcasting on more than 280 stations across 155 markets, covering 90% of the United States.

The awards show was a music event that recognized the top country artists and songs of the year, featuring live performances and celebrity appearances. It aimed to bring the energy of the radio countdown to a televised format, providing fans with a chance to see their favorite country stars honored on stage. The 2016 edition was the last, marking the end of the award show’s broadcast on FOX.

The cast included Florida Georgia Line as the host. The runtime for the event was approximately 120 minutes, making it a standard-length award show broadcast.
