Amaenaide yo!! was a comedy anime series that first premiered on July 1, 2005, and was set in a fantasy universe with romantic elements. It followed Satonaka Ikkou, an apprentice Buddhist priest, who was sent to live with his grandmother and six lively nuns at the Saien Temple. While he was expected to undergo severe training and perform purification tasks, he often found himself caught in humorous situations involving his less-than-pure desires. His powers would sometimes awaken, usually to save the day, especially when his worldly temptations grew stronger.

The show featured a cast of characters led by Chihiro Suzuki as Satonaka Ikkou, with Mai Nakahara as Nanbu Chitose, Tomoko Kawakami as Ikuina Sumi, and Ryouko Shintani as Sugai Hinata. The series did not have a rated score available, but it ran for approximately 25 minutes per episode.
