Akkun to Kanojo was a romantic comedy anime that premiered in April 2018. It depicted the everyday life of Atsuhiro "Akkun" Kagari, a boy with a tsundere personality, and his girlfriend Non "Nontan" Katagiri. The series focused on Akkun’s harsh behavior towards Nontan, which included verbal abuse and neglect, despite his true feelings of affection. Nontan was unaware of Akkun’s stalker-like tendencies, often finding his actions adorable, while Akkun secretly harbored deep feelings for her.
