Akıncı was a Turkish action, adventure, and fantasy series that premiered on January 1, 2021. It followed the story of Fatih, an idealistic history teacher who discovers his Ottoman ancestry and takes on a secret identity as an Akıncı, a heroic figure fighting against criminal organizations threatening his country. During the day, he taught history with dedication, while at night, he donned a mask to wage covert operations, becoming a folk hero in the process.

The series featured Şükrü Özyıldız as Fatih, alongside Büşra Develi, Yıldıray Şahinler, Tolga Tekin, Sermet Yeşil, Erkan Bektaş, Yılmaz Bayraktar, and Müge Boz. It received a rating of 5.5 on TVMaze and had a runtime of 120 minutes per episode.
