Ajin was a Japanese anime series that premiered in 2016. It was a horror and mystery show that centered around the existence of Ajin—humans who cannot die. The story was set in a world where these beings first appeared on a battlefield in Africa seventeen years prior, and over time, more Ajin were discovered within human society. The series followed a high school student whose summer holiday took a turn when he encountered the Ajin, leading to a series of dangerous and mysterious events.
