Is Against the Wind coming back?

Against the Wind ended on October 31, 1978, after its first season on the Seven Network.

The show was a historical drama series that aired in 1978, depicting 15 years of Australia's colonial past. It told the story of Mary Mulvane, an 18-year-old Irish woman unfairly sentenced to seven years of transportation to New South Wales in 1798. The series followed her struggles to survive the hardships of transportation and establish herself in a turbulent land, against the backdrop of events such as the Castle Hill Rebellion of 1804 and the Rum Rebellion of 1808.

The cast included Mary Larkin as Mary Garrett, Kerry McGuire as Polly McNamara, Warwick Sims as Ensign Maurice Greville, Frank Gallacher as Will Price, Jon English as Jonathan Garrett, Frederick Parslow as Captain Charles Wiltshire, Gerard Kennedy as Dinny O'Byrne, and Hu Pryce as Jonas Pike.
