Absentia was a drama, crime, and thriller series that premiered in 2017. It followed FBI agent Emily Byrne, who disappeared while pursuing a notorious serial killer and was presumed dead. Six years later, she was found in a cabin with no memory of her missing years. Upon returning home, she discovered her husband had remarried and her son was being raised by another woman. She soon found herself involved in a new series of murders, unraveling complex mysteries and personal struggles.

The series featured actors such as Stana Katic as Emily Byrne, Patrick Heusinger as Nick Durand, and Neil Jackson as Jack Byrne. It had a rating of 7.7 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of approximately 54 minutes.
