When does Worldwide Day of Play return?

The Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event on the Nickelodeon cable channel. It is designed to encourage children and parents to turn off the television and play together, especially outdoors. The yearly event officially began on October 2, 2004. The latest event was held on September 30, 2023, following a four-year hiatus. Since the late 2000s, an international edition of the event has also been broadcast on versions in Germany, Benelux, Greece, Poland and Russia.
