When does Work in Progress return?

Work in Progress is an American comedy-drama television series produced by Showtime. The series stars Abby McEnany as a self-identified "fat, queer dyke" who lives with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The pilot episode was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. The first season of the series, consisting of eight episodes, premiered on Showtime on December 8, 2019. On January 13, 2020, Showtime renewed the series for a 10-episode second season, to be filmed in Chicago later in the year. The second season premiered on August 22, 2021.
