Robert Eric Wone was a fourth generation Chinese American, born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Wone attended the College of William & Mary in 1996 and was married to Katherine Ellen Yu in 2003. In August 2006 he was murdered in the Washington, D.C., home of a college friend, Joseph Price. Price, Victor Zaborsky and Dylan Ward were charged with obstruction of justice and conspiracy related to alleged tampering with the crime scene. The men were acquitted of the charges in June 2010; no one else has been charged with Wone's killing.
