When does Watson return?

The series is based on the character of Dr. John Watson from Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories. It is the second CBS series to adapt the Holmes stories, after Elementary. Watson was renewed for a second season which is set to premiere in January 2026.
One year after Holmes's death, Watson sets up shop at a clinic for the treatment of rare and unusual diseases. Watson must face his past when Moriarty emerges to do battle once more.
