Phoebe Mary Waller-Bridge was born in Hammersmith, London, on 14 July 1985. She is the creator, head writer, and lead star of the comedy series Fleabag. She won three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes and a British Academy Television Award for writing and producing the spy thriller series Killing Eve (2018–2022) She has also created, written, and starred in comedy series Crashing (2016), and acted in the films Albert Nobbs and The Iron Lady (2011), Goodbye Christopher Robin and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
