José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales (Spanish pronunciation: xo?se pa?olo ?e?re?o ?on?sales]; born 1 January 1984) is a striker for the Peru national team. He has scored 38 goals in 107 matches for Peru since debuting at 20. Guerrero was one of 59 nominees for the 2015 FIFA Ballon d'Or, becoming the first Peruvian to receive that recognition. He is also the oldest Peruvian player to appear in a World Cup, at the age of 34 and 177 days.
