Conan O'Brien is best known for having hosted late-night talk shows for almost 28 years. Before his hosting career, he was a writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1988 to 1991, and the Fox animated sitcom The Simpsons from 1991 to 1993. With the retirement of David Letterman on May 20, 2015, he became the longest-working U.S. talk show host active in the United States. Conan was named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in 2010. He is expected to launch a new show on HBO Max in 2021.
