ThunderCats is a reboot of the original 1980s TV series of the same name. The series began with an hour-long premiere on Cartoon Network on July 29, 2011. It is the final animated collaboration of Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass, as Rankin died on January 30, 2014, and Bass died on October 25, 2022.
