The Penguin is an American crime drama television miniseries developed by Lauren LeFranc for HBO. Based on the DC Comics character of the same name, it serves as a spin-off from the 2022 film The Batman. The Penguin was broadcast in the United States from September 19 to November 10, 2024, spanning eight episodes.
The series explores the rise of Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot / Penguin in Gotham City's criminal underworld. Set one week after the events of The Batman (2022)
