The Asunta Case (Spanish: El caso Asunta) is an upcoming crime thriller miniseries based on the murder of Asunta Basterra. Starring Candela Peña and Tristán Ulloa. The plot tracks the investigation concerning the case after Asunta's parents reported her missing on 21 September 2013 and her corpse is ensuingly found on a road near Santiago de Compostela. The six-episode series will be released on Netflix on 26 April 2024.
