The Associates stars Wilfrid Hyde-White, Alley Mills, Joe Regalbuto, Shelley Smith, and Tim Thomerson. The Associates was based on the novel of the same name by John Jay Osborn Jr. The show was the first starring vehicle for Short and centered on a small group of young novice lawyers.
