TaleSpin is an American animated television series. It first aired in 1990 as a preview-run on The Disney Channel before beginning its main run in syndication later that year. It features anthropomorphized versions of characters from Disney's The Jungle Book. The name of the show is a play on "tailspin", the rapid descent of an aircraft in a steep spiral, and on the fact that tale is another word for "story"
