Susan Elizabeth Perkins was born on 22 September 1969 in Croydon, London. She is best known for her comedy partnership with Mel Giedroyc in Mel and Sue. Perkins has since become best known as a radio broadcaster and television presenter. She hosted The Great British Bake Off (2010–2016), Insert Name Here (2016–2019) and Just a Minute (since 2021)
