Steven Craig Banks (born November 27, 1954) is an American actor, musician, comedian, and writer of television, plays, books and cartoons. In 1987, Banks landed his first acting role, performing as a minor character in the fantasy-comedy Date with an Angel. In 1989, Home Entertainment Center achieved national fame when it was filmed and aired on Showtime; the filming was done at the Marines' Memorial Theater.
