Shaun Roger White is a five-time Olympian and a three-time Olympic gold medalist in half-pipe snowboarding. He holds the world record for the most X Games gold medals and most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder. White was born in San Diego, California, to parents Cathy and Roger. He was born with a Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect for which he required two open heart operations before the age of one.
