Shaun Roger White is a five-time Olympian and a three-time Olympic gold medalist in half-pipe snowboarding. He holds the world record for the most X Games gold medals and most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder. White was born with a tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect for which he required two open-heart operations before the age of one. White switched from skiing to snowboarding at age six, and by age seven, he received his first sponsorship.
